Sound bottle. Ripe fruit, confected sweetness, really tastes very young. Simple and sweet, lacks structure and acidity. First glass was drinkable but my palate tired very quickly of this and I couldn't choke down another glass.
Nice dark color. I really like this wine-- cherry and plum that has a plush mouthfeel. Not super complex, but begs for the next sip. I think this is a really nice wine, and a very good QPR. 89.5 2/5/10

Dark. Cooked plums and jammy fruit on the nose, some hints of chocolate. Fairly sweet, jammy, rich, some heat. Strong fruity California style that is pretty boring but not bad.

Impulse buy at the checkout when buying some other bottles. Went into it with zero preconceived notions. Upon pouring, it was very dark and inky in color. Can't describe the nose exactly but with the exception of some strong alcohol it led me to expect a big fruity/jammy wine. I wish I would have stopped there. This wine was awful. I couldn't drink a whole glass. This is the first time I've had to abandon a bottle.

Faint nose of fruit. Taste of a decent average red Cabernet. Good to have with guests that aren't big wine drinkers. Very smooth but not very exciting. Probably paying for the name more than anything with this wine. Not bad, just a lack of body.

Glad I waited on this one. Followed a 2002 Raymond Reserve Cabernet and wasn't far behind in quality.
