100% Granazza. Rare indigenous grape from the interior of Sardinia
Sea spray, ripe yellow apples, ripe pears, white flowers (lily and acacia) and a bit of nuttiness on the nose. High intensity of aromas. The palate adds coconut (though not from any oak influence) and white pepper. Medium + intensity of flavors, from the nose, you'd think they would be bigger. But the wine is texturally huge in a great way. Expansive, even.
Full bodied with medium - acid. Had with a five course seafood tasting menu and it paired very well with the entire savory part of our meal.
