We have not had before this night. So sad to see it could have been even better. Still extremely good. Light smoky spicy cherry cassis leather earth Complex with plenty of finish. Triple yum

Delicious but definitely ready to drink if you have some in your cellar. Strawberry or raspberry - the viognier creates a great mouthfeel. This is our last bottle - too bad - but on to the 2006!

i have always loved storybook zins, but this one was a little disappointing, weak at first then after an hour of being open the wine really started developing some backbone. this wine went well with our ploughman's dinner of meats and cheeses. i am wondering if this bottle was off as i have had other 2005 eastern exposures and been very pleased with them.

Really lively and interesting zin. Loads of pepper and spice and a essence of blackberry fruit component. The mouth has tannin to spare but is structured to age IMO. Really interesting and mouthfilling zin.

10% Viognier blended in after fermentation. It was deep purple, almost black, with dark chocolate fondue, apricots and dark flowers on the nose, followed by soft black cherry and raspberries soda with good med+ acid. The CA wine peeps were very impressed.

While offering a lovely perfumed floral nose with red and black fruits this wine was much more spare in the mouth than the 2006 Macaymaus Range. It seemed to have the same elegant structure of its stable mate but only time will tell.

I seem to remember this having more intensity. Still taste the great complexity.

Spare bouquet and palate with nice balance but hardly worth the price.

This is a very delicate Zin. Zin characteristics, but very subtle.

Very good zin. Viognier helped mellow it but still lots of flavor and a nice little zin zip
