  • This is always a lovely, complex wine - effusive notes of white flowers, creamy peaches, vanilla and buttered brioche, supported by lemon confit and honeyed notes, maybe even with a suggestion of fresh figs. Mineral and herbal notes also gently poking through. The palate is dense and mouth-filling, with supple acidity and a sneakily long finish that ends on a saline, mineral twist. Real bang for your buck, which should improve. 92+
