Stunner, shocking that it's 12 years old. My wife thought it was a 2010. Plenty of life left and great citrus fruit with great minerality. Happy to have 1 more bottle

Very pale gold. Lemon zest, wet stones, melon on the news. More expressive on the palate with juicy citrus, melon, minerals, buttered toast and a big long finish.

Honeyed, slightly lemony nose, trace of shrooms and resin. Huge broad mouth, floral, tangy acidity, minerally, almost salt n vinegar. Taut dry finish with a trace of vanilla from the oak. Lovely wine. Should go for years. Opens up slowly, needs a few hours

Some Burgundies at my place: Tasted blind. Soon after opening, nose is not so expressive, but still has plenty of minerality and salinity with a touch of ananas. Palate is more onctuous with honey and some vanilla. Hours later, the nose is lot more expressive with white flowers, honey and still minerality. Plate has still some saltiness but has now exploded, with plenty of honey.
Delicious.

Exceptional Chablis Grand Cru. See my notes of 11/29/11. It is only getting better. Two left. Can I hold off for a couple of years to see what it does?! All indications are will improve.

Munskänkarna, Brussels (Brussels): Deeply golden color. Oxidized, reminiscent of mature champagne aromas, caramel fudge, mushroom. On the palate it surprises by not being so far gone as the nose would suggest. Full bodied, very good acidity and still fresh fruit. My favorite of the whites this evening.

Simply a superb wine! Four years ago I gave this wine a 93. It is even better today. Typical Chablis Grand Cru with a beautiful, deep golden color. Flinty, minerally as you would expect. Loads of lively acidity. Still years to go and should only get better. Three left; how long can I hold off?!

Perhaps beyond its best but gentle minerality and fruit, still well balanced; less powerful than before

Bit oxidized or just the style? Enjoyable, but very white fruit almost Rhone like.
