  • Part of the Rare & Special wines of Restaurant Potato in Zermatt.
Modernist in a good way, polished and round and with a good amount of new oak that actually works well with the wine. Good fruit presence , nice rich fruit but in now way heavy or overdone and had a nice elegance to it across. Good 92 and with good ageing capacity too albeit we would prefer this younger than older.

  • Decanted, I think for about 2 hours. 30% Cornalin, 24% Syrah, 20% Humagne Rouge, 18% Diolinoir, 8% Merlot. Not a bad wine, I just don't rate it higher because it has too much acidity for me at the moment. 90 pts. at the moment.
