Typical clare cab with leafy, minty notes running across a backbone of juicy blackberrys and blackcurrants. Plenty of mint on the palate. Structurally sound, has aged well and has plenty of secondary characters beginning to show through.

An easy summer drinker. Wanted to slightly chill this one as it has a definite grape Kool-Aid vibe. Some might frown on that, but I happen to like grape Kool-Aid.

Nice dark purple. Great Cab nose. Dusty, great oak treatment, blue fruit. Nice mouthfeel, big tight fruit, big fruit mouth, yum factor. Sweet dry finish. Likey easy drinking.

Started drinking right away. The wine was crimson coloured. Vanilla, spice, mint and black currant. It was medium bodied, supple with silky tannins and fresh acidity. A long finish. Unfortunately, it was way over oasked for my taste. Drink now-2013.

Overblown and sweet verging on sickly. It's nicely assembled but the alcohol level is overpowering and even when it passes there is too much uniformity of black fruit and litle of interest. No acidity of note and this was becoming almost medicinal after a couple of glasses.
A day later little change although slightly brighter fruit notes. A bizarrely short finish given what preceded it.
More Aussie Shiraz fruit bomb than refined Cab S. And not great for it.

Huge candy monster. Blueberry flavored syrup, berries and cream, chocolate, charred wood. Some zingy acidity keeps it from being cloying but if served blind, I would have guessed this was an Aussie Shiraz, not a Cab. Just not my favorite thing to do with the Cab grape, but if you like this style, you'll like this wine.

Dark. Brooding nose, just a pop & pour at the G Hyatt Saigon. Real buttery creamy nose with black fruit in there, hint of the oak. Big rich mouth feel, ripe cherry fruit & cherry stones minerality in the finish. This may flesh out to be a super choice wine. Finish is OK at this point, scoring could go either way in coming years. Funny cause as I was drinking it and looked at it I thought it was a Shiraz, so the things I was tasting just did not make sense, now I see it is a Cab . . . oh.

Very dark purple, almost black. Very rich aromas. Blackcurrant, cedar and smoked tobacco on the nose. This is a massive wine which needs to be drank with food. Huge flavours and very high alcohol (15%). Very concentrated blackcurrant, liquorice with a lingering smoky finish. Good, but too big for me.

Leery of the 15.0 ABV, but there was plenty of dark fruit and a musty, Bordeaux=like nose. Enjoyable with a dark complex cab character. Good juice.

What an exceptional wine. Quite large but nice if you like that style and...I do! One bottle left for next summer.

This is a solid cab that is getting better with age. Really enjoy it. I also like that I have three bottles left!

Better, but it's still overlaid with alcohol and whilst I got more from the palate on this bottle the gloopiness retained. Decidedly unspectacular

Cherry, currant, mint, toast and vanilla nose. Assertive and bright with balanced tannins. Long currant and mint finish.

Decanted one hour. Very good QPR. Lots lot mint and dark cherry. Not much of a finish or this could be a 90 point wine for 20 bucks.

Nice bright red fruit with robust tannin structure. Gaping back palate hole with minimal finish.
