Still pretty tight and grippy. Nice right looking scarlet colour reflected in clean redder fruit profile with a bit of a classic gevrey meaty/gamey profile too. Shut down pretty tight on the mid palate though.

Some power on this wine! Amazing aromatics - dark cherry fruit, lots of earthiness, mint/eucalyptus, notes of leather and deliciously chewy tannins. Fabulous balance and can handle more years. Great now but can handle several more years.

YOUNG! First bottle from a 6 pack and this is obviously still not ready for prine time. Some classic gevrey meatiness, somewhat animale and herby and pinched on the back end. Should be good with 5 years...

Previously had this about 7 months ago.. Still unchanged from that experience (as expected) but in that time the price has dropped from $47 to $28... Time to buy a few more.

Initially wound up tight like a drum and only after a couple of hours did this start to emerge from it's shell. Once it had plenty of airtime it showed a nice bit of zippy ripe cherry fruit with very fine tannins. The lighter side of medium bodied and maintains quite a firm grip on the palate with almost a mouth drying finish. Clearly much too young to jump into at this point but given enough time, this should mature pretty well and merit a higher rating.

Excellent Gevrey. Du corps de la complexité mais tout en velour.

Another disappointing wine off the sale rack. A lot of sediment, and after that it was a hot disjointed mess. Bummer.

Much tighter and darker fruited than the 06 bachelet VV it was paired with. Some black fruits and leather backed up by plenty of grippy tannins.
