Tannins have mellowed, but still fairly aggressive. Hard to believe it's a second label. High acid, and if you don't like a pungent, barnyard note, avoid this wine. Be prepared to hear cows moo and chickens cluck, it's seriously earthy. Not nearly at peak, however.

Tight nose that gives little - maybe a little violet and plum. Dark wine with sweet but understated fruit. Some cranberry, bell pepper and celery.Good structure and acid. Good QPR.

Surprisingly enjoyable for this lower tier Bordeaux. I kept an open mind, but my expectations were low. Typical terroir nose & mouth, but not so much as to overwhelm the fruit. A thirty minute decant helped it along, and it improved with every glass. An excellent value.

Very tight and tart when first popped. But after running through the Vinturi the fruit came forward and the wine smoothed out. Solid dark fruit flavors. OK, all around. Good value Bordeaux at $15.

Smooth tannins, dark fruits and some coffee on the back end. Came apart on day 2. Expected more.

Light red raspberry nose. Nice red raspberry over cranberry upfront, nice balance, modest length. Good QPR; 12.5%
