I'm not usually a huge fan of this wine when it comes out, but the '07, with a couple of years bottle age (under crown cap) really surprised me. This is much richer and with more flavors then I usually associate with Berger. I'm not sure if it's the vintage or the time in bottle, but a rocking bottle of wine right now.

We had this with scallop stir fry on 12/25/08. It had a sweet bouquet with apricot, pear, honey, lime and vegetal aromas. It was slightly sweet on the palate with apricot, pear, honey, lime and something vegetal that I can’t quite place. It has good acidity and was a little bitter. It had a moderate, 35 second finish. I found it very enjoyable with decent complexity. It is a GREAT QPR.

As always a dependale and refreshing summmer white. It's got a lot of character of green apple, quince and a tough of shummers grasses. Always a crowd pleaser fron peopole who have never hear of it. A fantastic QPR which is why it's often sold in in LA.

Green apple, asparagus, and grass on the nose. Light, acidic palate consistent with the nose. Extremely simple, and not very well balanced.

Such a crisp wine for Summer. Just sipped over ice and enjoyed. Many flinty minerals and a background of citris.
