Was warned at the vineyard when I bought this that 'it would need a few years' for the tannins from the corvina and the ancient oseleta varieties in this blend to settle down. After 4 years they have and the wine reminds me of a robust primativo. Still a bit boisterous it is a perfect wine to stand up to big food. It lacks finesse but makes up for it in body.
