  • Now at a very pleasant phase. Evolved, mature, dried fruits. Tannins are now smooth and supporting. Fine example of a wine of medium weight and complexity, that has evolved into something very pleasant.

  • A fairly classic Barolo from a good vintage. Nothing wrong with it, very correct, everything in it´s place, fruit, tannin, acid etc, all is there, decent lenght as well, went very well with food. Very decent, but othing that stands out, for 40$, this is what you get.

  • Clear garnet browned at the edges. Perfumed nose of roses, cherries, and dark chocolate bars. Light body, high acid, brisk young tannins with a firm late palate grip. Cherry immediately gives way to a deep dark chocolate, touches of tar. A long dusty powdered dark chocolate finish. Drinks like a modern style. Good now but would certainly like to return to this vintage in another five years to see if it develops given the modern presentation. 39$ paid.
