Solid, starting to show the end of life. A bit of Tar/menthol, resolved Tannins and full integration. Overall a good drink with saute beef , veggies and pasta.

Subdued, somewhat earthy nose of dark fruit, coffee bean, potting soil, leather and cedar, well-balanced palate of crushed blackberry and ripe blueberry, secondary notes of mocha powder, peppercress, dark chocolate and grated nutmeg, rounded tannins, moderately lengthy, peppery finish. Beyond its’ heyday but still very nice. Excellent paired with bacon wrapped pork loin, roasted vegetables and whipped potatoes.

Wonderful wine. Needed something special to pair with a cognac marinated filet mignon to break in my new natural gas grill at my new outdoor kitchen. Definitely no disappointment. Well blended and smooth tastes of subtle spices engulfed in pleasant tones of blackberry, tobacco, and tar (and yes, these tastes of tar and tobacco are "pleasant") when served at a "room temperature" of about 60 degrees. No need to let it breathe as it equally delights right out of the bottle vis-a-vis 1 hour later. Enjoyable aftertaste fills the mouth for minutes on end. Whether you are a Turley newbee or a Turley aficianado (as Larry and his "family", as well as I, say that I am), please do not pass on the opportunity to taste this wine if you have a reasonable opportunity to do so as you will not be disappointed. I do not know how this wine can get much better than this but I have one more bottle that I hope to forget about until at least 2026.

Pnp, drank over 3 hours. Delicious right from the start. Soft, smooth, blueberry/dark subtle fruits yet still has some weight. A slight floral nose with a touch of honey & spice. Enjoy now-2020.

This is in a great spot right now. Integrated tannins but still present and goes well with the roast pork shoulder we made. Dark fruits, nice earthy notes, and some almost mineral/acid holding up the spine.

Was in the mood for a petite to end a busy week. Drank along side some higher end chocolate bars over two nights (poured half into a 375 right upon opening). Nice texture and balance between fruit and loamy notes. This a good Napa petite fruit. While still structured was approachable and engaging. Purple fruit core, nice brightness from the acidity. Smooth mouthfeel, tannins resolved allowing this one to be enjoyed now. In a good place and think can hold there for some time.

Despite some of the other comments, I think this has aged very well. I suspect storage plays a big part. Wonderful fruit on the start and a very solid finish. However, I do think it's in it's prime of the next few years.

quite savory with medium fruit and medium length worked well with barbeque. Good now, but true to my assessment in 2010 age us not improving this; Drink Up!

Decanted seven hours, should have waited three plus years. Tightly wound, rich and intense. Those who have patience will be richly rewarded. 93+ Open 2018 at the earliest.

Pure "furry" blackberries, wild berry fruit; tangy acidity, slight loamy minerality with rich cherry notes and medium finish. Huge but balanced. Awesome PS. 92-93

Pretty much opaque dark garnet in the glass. This strikes me as a fairly prototypical California Petite Sirah. Aromas of dark fruit, oak, and something like graham cracker. Full bodied with ripe but chewy black fruit. Young.

To say there is oak is to understate it but it is inky purple with a pink rim. Dark berries and sandlewood one the nose plus the hot butter vanilla from oak. Palate backs it up nicely. Outstanding. Drink with good decant +\- run through Vinturi 5+14+17+8
I reassessed a glass or two left and drank 2 days later. It did not maintain or improve like my last Hayne Vineyard but still a fine drink. Main reason to point this out is that it may not age as beautifully as Hayne

Dark blueberry and leather. In a nice spot, with firm but smooth tannins.
