Still pleasant, although showed rather linear characteristics this time. Pale lemon colour with a hint of god, the nose is attractive, floral and lime leaves with a good dose of petroleum. The taste is light bodied, off dry and shows the same soft lime cordial notes. The finish was rather abrupt. I think I'll leave the rest of this case for some time now, so see whether it becomes more complex with age - I'll be disappointed of it remains this linear.

Very good on it's own, this didn't stand out in a stellar tasting of Rieslings. Nevertheless it's attractive with a floral smell of white flowers and rose petals, with some lime marmalade. The taste is delightfully off-dry, pure and clean, with a racy acidity and spicy finish.

Brought to a friend's Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner. The sugar had integrated somewhat so this was not as sweet as I thought it might be. Really good and friends liked it.

Charming floral wine with a hint of lime cordial sweetness, but it falls away towards the end. Not the persistence of some other vintages. I would drink this slightly on the cold side to counteract the softness.

Restrained slate, honeysuckle aromas. Lovely palate of lime and pears, lingering pear/petrol finish. Balanced, with just a little too much softness in the finish. Good candidate for Asian foods, especially Korean. Excellent value at $17.

Nose that emphasizes the floral, with clover; also notes of flint and petrol. Quite pleasant on the palate, with more tropical yellow fruit (guava and pineapple) and kerosene on entry. Great acidic finish.

Pale golden colour, a lot of bubbles around the glass. Subtle apples and green fruits, honeyed characters with hints of lime and petrol. Tropical fruits on palate, light, low alcohol but lacking in acidity, grapefruit and gooseberry aftertaste, long length. ***

The upfront taste was sugary sweet...I found the citrus flavors were subdued by the sweetness which is more of an Auslese style than a Spatlese..I think there are much better German Spatlese Reislings for the money...

A lovely, pithy, fine, elegant Spätlese. It does not have the same richness or sweetness as the 2005 and 2006 and I would therefore drink this before those vintages.

UWS: Very clean bouquet and taste. Good sweetness and very good acidity to back it up. Well made wine.

Terry Theise Tasting - 2007 Austrians and Germans (Minneapolis): Tart, crisp, and citrus-infused, this is legally a Spätlese but comes off as drier and leaner than I am used to. Lime and slate flavors. A bit lean and tart on the finish.
