This is a gorgeous bottle. Nothing oxidized about it (like I thought about the last bottle). Strong fruity nose with overtones of mint and garrigue. Tons of body, serious but fun. Lots of length. Tannin holds up, but not out of balance. Acidity makes this even legthier. This is the best of my 3 bottles and if each is like this it can last another 5-10 years, but the last bottle wasn't as good as this So if you have any drink them now!

This really showed well on night two. Black cherry, minor minerality on the nose with spicy mouth coating dark fruit on the palate. I'm going to wait a few more years before opening more. Outstanding value and a massive cotes du rhone.

Very dark color. Strong berry nose with well balanced wood. Thin mouth. Finish is tart and quite spicy with a strong but rough tannin backbone. A touch of greenness on the back end that detracts from an otherwise tasty effort. I am being picky here though. This is really quite good.

This wine was smoother the second day. I needed to decant longer for it to open up. The fruits appeared more fresh than dried, less tannins. Definitely let it open up before drinking.

Agree with previous comments that this is a thoroughly delicious wine. Good fruit, a bit of herbs and tobacco, integrated tannins. Wonderful with barbecued lamb and beef. Really nice.

lovely boisterous round wine with rich grenache fruit and a syrah minty streak. Tannins are present but not overwhelming. Overall delicious but not a profound wine.

Very sweet fruits on the nose; about as sweet as I've ever gotten from a Rhone red. Lots of oak showing, with an interesting perfumey red fruit after a bit of swirling. Slight peppery burn to the nose as well. Palate has very juicy fruit, sweet and pleasing, with a bit of funk for Old World character. 90-91

Decanted and drunk over 2 hours. Tight at first. The air time definitely helped. I think that 2-3 years will do very well for this wine, as it could be the most structured CDR that I have ever had.

Goodness me! This is really, really good. I was very disappointed by Delas' 07 CdR, but this is a totally different beast. Never heavy or thick, always with a refreshing edge of acidity - lots of Cherry notes on the nose (maybe Cherry Drops?). Palate is less sweet than the nose: the red fruit is balanced by cloves, pomegranate and a little rose note. Day 2 much better than Day 1.

Simply the nicest young CdR I've ever had. This is intensely focused, yet plush and round. The nose and palate are both quite vivid and the purity is a thing of beauty. A few steps above the '05 and that was a really nice wine. I bought 3 6-pks and I'm already anxious for their September arrival. This is NOT a ripe fruit bomb. Instead it's a very well structured, very smooth, well knit CdR packed with Southern Rhone goodness. A blend of 50/50 Grenache/Syrah. Approx $29, drink thru 2019

A little oxidized, I hope it's just a rogue bottle but I'm afraid it might just be over the hill.

Bon vin assez moderne, concentré, extrait, chaleureux, gros fruit mûr, on ne fait pas dans la finesse. Boisé bien dosé, mais finale trop alcooleuse.

A-. Absolutely delicious! Awesome nose. Still could use a couple of years to round out. One of the best CdRs ever.
