Drank at Okemo late last week. Minerals on the nose, along with some petrol. There's still good amounts of white fruit, but acidity is a bit lacking. Still fresh, with just a tinge of sweetness. Enjoyable

smells a little wet and slatey. red apple, pineapple, lemon. pretty but no petrol or balloon which i miss.
the palate is fairly intense concentration, decent acid, very balanced and sippable, but a bit non-descript as well. no surprises here, but good wine nonetheless.

Beautiful nose of mineral, petrol and sweet white fruit. Palate has sweet, mildly rich fruit profile. Some acidity but just enough to offset the sweetness ... not enough to create tension and verve. Never the less, this shows enough freshness to stay enjoyable and avoid showing as cloying. Solid.

Mostly tastes of sweet fruit juices of pear and apple. Has some mineral flavors and a lush texture, but with so much sweetness and little verve, it tastes more like drinking a fruit juice blend rather than a fine wine.

Overtly sweet, like drinking rock candy, with slightly diffuse flavors. That said, this has picked up some nice petrol notes to go with the spices and pear. Has enough acid, barely, to keep things moving. I think I'll wait another few years for the next one to see what happens. 16.5/20

Lovely wine, just delicious. Not that fragrant on the nose, more floral, white flowers and blackcurrant leaf. Palate is full of citrus fruit, sweet tangerine, apple, nice moutfiilling finish with a great aftertaste.

Just eh. Hasn't budged much since I had it last. Shows hollow. There's no tension, no depth. It's a perfectly nice drink, but, for what it is, a disappointment.

nice - medium yellow gold, slightly sweet, peach, apple, white flowers, no petrol, interesting but not showing much. Slightly sweet but keeps a nice crisp apple backbone - zingy apple acidity on the finish. Secondary flavours of tart cherry and tangerine, actually tasted pretty full bodied. Really nice finish - good wine.

Creamy apple and pear flavors with notes of pineapple up front followed by a suggestion of red fruit, I got sour cherry and even raspberry. Finishes with lemony, moderate acidity and a sense of wet stones. Mellowing but still waiting for significant secondary flavors. Delicious wine; outstanding QPR.

The Salon's first lab (Mirabelle Restaurant Austin, Texas): Was very savory and spicy, with thai, basil, lemon/limeflavors. It had low acidity for a riesling, some diesel and mineral notes. It was the most evolved of a group of 2002 middle Mosels tasted.

Opened about 10 hours before drinking. On the tight side now but not closed. Solid weight for an 02 with nice yet not overpowering acidity. Pretty notes of lime and green apples with the sweetness feeling married instead of standing out. Good length and nice minerality on the finish. Probably best in a few more years but very nice now especially with dinner.

This seems like it's just beginning to open up from .375. Nice complexity on the nose, still a light sweetness in the mouth but with a vibrant acidity that really gives the impression of biting into a succulent piece of fruit. Extremely long finish. A really fun bottle that I'm sure will get better with time, but it's very worth checking in on one now to see what it's giving up.

Light yellow-green colour. A lovely nose has lots of yellow fruits, apple and flowers over minerals and some herbal notes. Tremendous on the palate - full bodied and rich yet light on its feet and very elegant with good acidity, showing seamless flavours of apple, peach, yellow fruits and vanilla. The finish is very long. Wow.

Deep yellow-green. Pleasant but restrained nose of fresh grassy horse droppings, honey, mango and citrus. Lovely texture, with ample sweetness that is barely balanced by the mild acidity and a slate component. I wouldn't age this too much longer for fear it might become cloying. Friendly, balanced, overall a bit shy, but a beautiful wine for sipping or to accompany a light dessert.

From 375. Reticent nose with scents of fresh meadow (the flowers and the grasses) with some yellow fruit (plums?) in the background. Mouth shows a great density of fruit and fine acidity. Some grapefruit flavors. The finish is very long. Do yourself a favor and don't open this wine now. It is fairly closed on the nose, though the palate and especially the finish show that there's beauty to come.

Just enough acidity to carry. Nice secondary flavors developing here. Good.

Petrol, lime seemed a little advanced for being a 2002, maybe poor storage?
