A decent nose leads to a non existent entry and a disjointed mess of a mid palate. The oak on the finish is pleasant but not enough to overcome the haunting tangle that proceeds it. I'm not sure what the goal of this wine was, but there are much better ways to spend 25 dollars.

I really enjoyed this cab. Definitely jammy like all the others have described. Raspberry or strawberry flavors. Smooth on the palette. Nice aftertaste. Low on the tannins. The fruit flavors come through and remain on the palette. Could smell the strawberries.

Big and jammy - fruit forward, dark fruit, dark red-purple color. Very strong at 16% alcohol, which means it can be as high as 17.5%. Ready to drink and has reached its peak.

On pop and pour, this had an huge nose of blue and black berries as well as spice. It was hot on the palate with a hard finish. After some air, the nose faded but the palate was much more smooth and interesting. I will give the next bottle some air.

Compared to "The Scooter", this is fantastic. Like "The Scooter", this has 16%abv and it comes off hot but nothing like the flame-thrower fuel that "The Scooter" is.
Minimalist nose, but some nice candied fruit flavors and a decent texture. The finish is quite long. But I don't think I'll be getting this again.

PnP, sans "the shake." Also forgot to check the nose...[guess I just needed some wine tonight]. Gobs of candied fruit on the palate, much like the Boxer. That said, while the Boxer shows decent acidity but no tannins, this has some tannins on the back, but no acidity. To enjoy this wine requires very small sips. Anything more is like trying to swallow a tablespoon of peanut butter all at once...[16% a.b.v.; $22.00].

A beautiful nose of pure blackcurrants; a delicious fruit bomb of dark flavors (but not fake fruit), with lots of licorice and molasses thrown in - almost sweet; very easy tannins, and a good finish. Had this with home-smoked ribs in a variety of bbq sauces, and as hoped it was a perfect accompaniment. A bit over the top, perhaps, but a surefire crowd pleaser.

Popped and poured. This is definitely prototypical Mollydooker. Loads of fruit up front and slightly over-oaked. The finish on this wine is excellent. If you like this style, you will enjoy this particular wine.

deep inky dark red, nose is full of fruits: from berries to plums, tannin is nice for its' young age, a typical fruity Mollydooker style with heavy body, Rebina-like fruity taste, and cedar box, not my style

Big dark purple black color. Very boozy nose like a cab impersionating a very ripe zin. Big plummy flavours very ripe zin with some typical cab cassis and cigar box notes. Finishes like a shot of Ribena mixed with vodka served in a cedar shot glass. Disjointed.

16% ABV. Gave this the MD shake treatment, not sure if it needed it. Dark black berry fruit. Somewhat creamy. Large scaled. Crowd pleasing flavors, but intense enough to be interesting. Somewhat brooding and simultaneously "sweet" and fruity. Didn't pick up much complexity, but this is pretty good.

A very dark shade of purple. The nose is full of spice and red cherry. Very fruit forward with flavors of cherry, currant and vanilla. The tannins are fine grained and integrate well. Almost a hint of rock salt on the finish which is medium length.

kind of a weird choice for thanksgiving dinner but felt like go hedonistic on the group. did the shake as demonstrated on the website, very cool. it's very fruit forward with dark fruit and clearly too much oak, but balance is really nice and this wine doesnt really need food it's like a food itself. dont feel like i can go 91 on this right now (think i mightve in previous tasting), but it's a steady 90 and good value.

Day 1: No formal notes. thick, heavy, sweet juicy dark berries. Smooth finish with very fine barely present tannins. Day 2: Easily as good as the first day. Nose is very slight now, with vanilla predominating. but tons of mouthfeel and grip. Cassis, molasses, and hint of hazelnut, I guess. Solid fulfilling finish.

tasted at wine dinner at akbar in LA. must be decanted an hour or so. was an 89 initially but opened up significantly in the glass (yes they had done the md shake as required). a little saltwater on the front end develops into very smooth dry tannins.the tannins took on more nuance as it opened in the glass. there's plenty of fruit and oak, the balance is nice. this would be easy to drink the whole bottle. picked up 3 bottles, will be fun to see what happens in the next 3 years.
