not much going on with this bottle, weird sweetness to it that I did not expect, nose is weak. had this brand a year ago and liked it, but just not happening here. No tannins, weak finish, maybe the 07 is better.......

Made from a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, 5% Merlot and 3% Barbera this wine shows intense blackcurrant and toasty oak on the nose. The palate is full bodies with great dark blackberry fruit and smoky characters.

An excellent example of a well made classic Livermore wine. Although thin in body, the wine explodes with the flavors of berries and light pepper. With steak, it lasts on the palate a long time and the aftertaste is great. Hard to choose, another bite of steak or another sip of wine. This wine is worth seeking out. And the price--you can't beat that!
