Let’s keep it simple because I have nothing more to say that has not already been said bu “Yum!” It decanted for abt an hour. Last bottle. Drank beautifully.

I am very disappointed by this wine in that it was my last bottle. I remember this wine from about 5 years ago being a pretty tasty fruit bomb...but now it is completely integrated still showing plenty of red and black fruit, a touch of smoke, earth and leather and not a rough edge for miles. Absolute prime drinking window IMHO but with a few years left. Fantastic wine especially for the price...wish I bought a case years ago.

Decanted for about 30 minutes and then served. The color was that of a dark ruby, not quite garnet. The flavors included some black fruit, along with a hint of smoke that paired with a tandori style grilled chicken. A medium bodied wine that probably is near its peak.

Full on the palate; great minerality (with a kind of ferrous bite that marries perfectly to a piece of rare-cooked beef -- this is a wine that needs steakous accompaniment, preferably pepper-encrusted) beneath the round red fruit. Soft and round in the mouth, medium tannins. Modern, for sure, but balanced, with no oak-overwhelm. In a great spot -- probably a year or two left at least but I don't see it developing much from here?

A nice purple coloring when poured. Flavors included black fruits, a hint of smoke and some earthiness. Not a heavy wine and matched well with ham. Tannins have dropped off and a very smooth wine.

Quick open and should have decanted as the wine opened up after 'bout an hour. Really a favorite. Nice balance and finish. The wine continues to evolve in a great direction.

As the night progressed, the wine really came into itself. The color was deeply garnet and the nose was not short-changed. A best bottle - we BS'd over the movie Bottle Shock and realized that this offering was also done of heart and spirit. A fine example - nice to know a few more sit quietly in the cellar.

Beautiful deep purple color. A little licorice on the nose but what grabbed me was the balanced soft jammy flavor up front. Cherry and red fruit predominate with an undercurrent of licorice and minerality. Nice smooth tannins on the rather long finish, especially for this young a wine. All and all very nice, particularly with red meat.

Subdued berry nose of raspberry, cheery, with Grenache undertones of earth and barnyard. Smooth, highly extracted palate with red berry fruit. Mild heat on the finish. Palate with little perceptible tannin, ripe plum and raspberry flavors. Medium length finish of fruity overtones with nice strong mineral background. Seems a little over ripe but not too out of balance.

Drank this with smoked ribs and sausage. Deep purple color, pleasant CS nose. Strong Garnacha on the tongue - very soft (particularly for such a young wine), but a good match for the barbecue. I like this wine, but need to drink it a little quicker (7 more to go).

Drink up. Clean cork and some sediment in the bottle. Pleasant, but acidity is fading and the wine is starting to come down from peak.

Found this overripe and overoaked with only a touch of smoke as a secondary note. Disappointed.

With Margherita Pizza; good pairing. Nice color, strong Cab nose, but Garnacha seemed to rule on thepalate.
