  • Still quite good. I just waited for too long. Hope to re-find this producer again.

  • Similar experience to previous reviewer: purchased and tasted in Nov 2011, it was well-structured but fairly closed. It has now come into its prime. Deep brick color at edge, pleasant cedar notes on the nose. Moderate sediment, should be decanted. Classic Nebbiolo flavors on the palate, remarkably full and well-balanced for an entry-level Nebbiolo. Seems unlikely to improve with further bottle age, but should hold for a few more years.

  • This has come together since my last note two years ago. Intense aroma and flavor and perfect in the mouth. Now. Serious, rich Nebbiolo.

  • Slight aroma/flavor intensity disconnect with the aroma several steps behind the strong flavors. The nose is pretty with no primary fruit and some developing, but not fully developed, integrated tar and slight orange. The flavor is mostly tar and delicious. It's rich and together in the mouth but still finishes with medium polished tannins. For my palate it's in its early drinking window with upside. Overall, extracted, serious, complete, pure, nice wine and thankfully not cooked.
