Dark purple garnet color. Nose of black fruits along with some herbal barnyard funk. Similar palate, with good balance of dark fruit, bitter tannins and bright acidity. Paired very well with a variety of mediterranean apps.

Showing a lovely plum color at the cor of the glass. Floral scents intermix with black & blue fruit, minerals, and herbs. In the mouth there is good acidity followed by bright black and blue fruits with a nice tannin structure and good mouth feel.

Impressive for the price - went well with ground sirloin. I don't expect these to age very long, so drink up. No heat, decent mouthfeel, just a touch of tannins - a very nice wine, suitable for a daily drinker without regret.

Cocoa-laced green veggies on the nose. On the palate, bright acid, really fine-grained tannins, and a nice combination of red fruit and earth. Excellent mid-week wine.

A plum-colored wine with a subdued nose in which the syrah component dominates. The nose remained very restrained even by Day2. Tastes of bright cherry are lush with a medium mouth feel. The tannins are soft and supple, offset by a nice balance of acidity. It ends with a very smooth finish where the cherries follow through. This wine shows nice Cabernet franc character, except for the nose, which seems pure syrah. This is one where "The more I tasted, the more I liked it" Overall QPR is very good.

Nice wine. Opened up beautifully. A shiraz lovers delight. (I am not a shiraz lover but I still enjoyed this wine)

About what you would expect a Syrah and cab to taste like. Not impressive. Okay daily drinker. Not bad QPR.
