Excellent. I love this style of Sauvignon Blanc with the French ak influence balancing the grassy fruit character that dominates NZ and Aussie styles. Very restrained and nuanced. 14.5% alc. but not obvious. Colour: pale straw Bouquet: floral, touch of lemon and lemongrass, slightly smokey Palate: a bit more intense than the nose, similar characters to nose though, very clean, balanced acid and long finish. Minerals. Buttery/creamy. Complex and very drinkable. Opens out as it breathes, with melon and pineapple characters. September 2018

A good sauvignon blanc that probably should be drunk soon. Lots of melon and pineapple, some good acid, and nice creaminess. Great with chips, almonds and snacks.

Pale gold in color. On the nose it was stale and tired, somewhat fruity. A taste of sour grapes and acidity is predominate. We likened it to sour Nerds candy or Fun Dip. I think we waited too long for this wine. I forgot about it.

Definitely the best US SB I've had (as and admitted fan of the NZ style), this has the melon/citrus, more grapefruit then honeydew, but nice fruit, great acidity, exceptionally refined, a hint of hay. Smoothed by the barrel with enough oak to provide depth but remain subtle. Very well done, great with a turkey roast, and alone before and after.

A classy slightly oaked SB, which showed soft oak and tropical fruits on the nose, and then soft white fruits on the palate. A sophisticated wine, and very nicely constructed.

Clean and fresh up front. Golden straw color. The fruit is melon and mild citrus. We think something is missing here as the fruit just isnt there as expected.

This wine is, was, and always will be one of my personal favorites. Not necessarily a great wine, but it has such a nicely integrated oakiness that isn't overpowering of the Sauv Blanc grassiness but adds some depth to it. i never get tired of this wine. it is so well balanced.

Very nice California Sav. Blanc.; light oak on the nose; bright, crisp fruit on the palate; gentle tartness on the finish. Perfect as a pre-dinner wine; also paired well with asian fusion food (in my case, avacado, wasabi and raw tuna). I usually prefer New Zealand Sav. Blanc for the more subdued fruit and enhanced mineral tones that those wines typically have (lacking here) - but this is a great expression of California-style Sav. Blanc, well worth the price

Good aromas of citrus and peach with soft buttery flavors to match. Acidity felt a little low so the flavors weren't as bright as I had expected from a sauvignon blanc.

excellent expression of an oaky sauvignon blanc grape in Napa. crisp, smooth. the moderate acidity balances the vanilla and somewhat creamy feel. aromas of vanilla, melon, citrus (lemon/lime), and pear go hand in hand with the taste. vanilla and hint of clove noted on the palate. well balanced with a medium finish. indian food rec: tandoori fish or light cream based fish dish, or dahi puri.

Classy fume blanc, barrel-aged for richness. Aromas of creamy citrus and melon with some tarragon and herbal notes. Fresh citrus and orchard fruits are in nice balance with the oaks, which is subtle and lends depth and complexity to the wine. Great with smoked fish.

Tasting Jury (Denver, CO): Lots of texture and creaminess here for a SB -but nothing overdone. Low acidity, above average focus and a pleasing mid-palate and mouthfeel. Pear juice, citrus and a hint of papaya make this a decent table wine. Drink through 2012 for best enjoyment, approx $16

Fuller bodied for Sav Blanc. Buttery and creamy as it warms in the glass. Very nice finish. Alternative wine to pair with Chardonnay foods.

A bit over the hill but still crisp and refreshing. Fruit still on the nose with the acidity leading the way on the palate. Drink up.

PnP. Clear, med straw color. Subdued, proper nose. Slightly over the top but well made and a nice wine. Nothing special, nothing off. Very CA style.

Blind Tasting with a difference - using Varietal Riedel Glasses (at Home in the Cellar): Light nuttiness and vanilla oak. I an not a Sauvignon Blanc fan so that probably shows in my rating?
