I've been holding onto this bottle for a while, but it still showed good fruit, just subdued (green apple). The acid backbone was still very strong and made this wine last this long. Didn't taste overly oaked at all. Went really well with Shrimp Scampi. Very pleased.

PnP. Clear, med straw color. Nice Chard nose. Clean, well integrated, good friut. Still oaky but at ths point in time, is not overwhelming. Decent every day drink, nothing off.

One of the most over-oaked vintages of this wine. The fruit is strong and vibrant, but there is enough oak in this wine to build a small hut. Too much of oak-driven aromas (butter, popcorn, vanilla, cinnamon, toast, etc). Needs to be consumed chilled and with food.

Nose of pear, green melon, and lemongrass. Mouth is bright, fairly light, lemony with lots of oak and some spice (cinnamon is a nice call). Clean, medium finish. A basic but very enjoyable wine.

Aroma is clean, light, with lemon scents and fresh floral scents. Has a hint of melon, vanilla, and some cinnamon. Taste is dry with medium acidity, light/medium body. Palate is similar to aroma, but also with more pronounced oak with cinnamon and touch of cloves. Has a medium pleasant finish with yeast/yogurt/cream feel, consistent with sur lie. Enjoyed this a little colder (~45 degrees) than most oaky whites. Was better than I expected, nicely complex.

Popped and poured. Medium-light lemon hue. Barely perceptible aromas of citrus, yeast, and oak. Medium-light body. Pleasant flavors of lemon oil, lemon zest, apple, and spice from oak on the palate. Well-balanced acidity, moderate finish. Charming, if somewhat superficial but nice in that the use of oak is not overwhelming and allows some of the fruit to show.

Tasting Jury (Denver, CO): An above-average quaffer with a nose of white flowers, apples, pears, a hint of tropical fruits and herbs. A bit of vanilla rounds out the bouquet. An above-average persistence and an enjoyable mouthfeel (just the right amount of malo) round this solid QPR wine off nicely. Drink through 2013 for best enjoyment.

Pronounced apple, apple blossom, butter, and pear aromas. Shyer on the palate, with round, mineral flavors and a crisp apple note. Well made and nicely balanced.

a fine wine and not as urgently drunk as the community appears to think. 2015 expiry date.

Canteloupe, tropical fruits, some vanilla. Smooth and drinkable but not special.

A very drinkable chardonnay. Well built and balanced. Goes with anything, but nothing too surprising.
