Medium gold color. Aromas of toasted nuts, spiced pear, and baked apple with some lemon/citrus. This has plenty of orchard fruit still on the palate and shows great apple and melon notes with a lemony finish that carries a background of toasted nuts and vanilla. This is holding well but is probably at the point where it needs to be finished up to catch it at peak enjoyment for my tastes. Drink.

Medium yellow color, starting to deepen. Aromas of vanilla, pear, apple, and butterscotch. Butterscotch, apple, and poached pear on the palate carry into a medium finish. This is on the back end of its prime drinking window for my tastes. Drink.

Medium gold color with some hints of amber. Sweet aroma of butterscotch candy. Palate shows rich butterscotch, applesauce, lemon curd, and a hint of quince. The finish is medium. Mature, but not showing nutty oxidation notes. Drink.

Bright straw color. Aromas of sea breeze, underripe pineapple, and lemon. The palate shows some hints of almond, lemon, resin, and a long finish with a strong mineral note. On day two the mineral note amplifies and this shows like a chablis with gunflint and mineral notes. A radical change from past notes and may evolve if it can avoid oxidation, but time to drink, for me. Drink.

Bright yellow-gold color. Big aromas of butterscotch, sweet pear, vanilla, and lemon. On the palate, this shows a full flavor profile that is dominated by pear and butterscotch but also has some hazelnut, lemon, flowers, stones, pineapple, and bitter melon. Long finish. Showing more than the 2005 right now. Drink over the next 2-5 years.

Light, bright yellow color. Nose of pears, mango, butterscotch, and yellow flowers. On the palate, this shows green and yellow apple, a hint of roasted hazelnut, butterscotch, pineapple, and green melon. Better showing than the last bottle. Full and satisfying.

Pale to medium yellow in the glass. Aromas of lemon, butterscotch, yellow flowers, and pineapple. On the palate, this shows lemon, mango, apple, a hint of butterscotch and stone, and a floral spring water essence. This is light in body and still very crisp and seems destined for longer shelf life than the 2005 EL, which is heavier and already showing more advanced flavors.

Medium straw yellow color. Aromas of honeysuckle, peach, and yellow apple. On the palate, the apple notes are almost baked with butterscotch, a hint of lemon, and a hint of stone in the background. Acids show on finish to give me confidence this will hold for a few years in the cellar. Improvement possible, but very well integrated now with lovely primary fruit character in abundance.

Straw/pale yellow color. Aromas of ripe pear, melon, and vanilla. On the palate, the melon and vanilla dominate at the front and the pear is present in the finish along with yellow delicious apple. Pineapple notes emerge with time in the glass. Fresher tasting than it's 2004 Estate counterpart (from memory of most recent tasting of the 2004). Also doesn't show as much overt alcohol as the 2004 (and 2005 and 2006) estate wines.
