Deep garnet center with a little bricking towards the edges. Nose had typical vegetal and notes with a hint of barnyard and very muted black fruit. Tobacco, green pepper, barnyard, straw, and muted black fruit on the palate. Adequate acid, and smooth tannins, probably could go for another year or two, but not a long term ager.

My 1st Chinon (that I know of). I really enjoyed this. I could have just opened it and let it fill the house with wonderful aromatics. Since this is my 1st Chinon, I am not going to score this, but I did think it was a pop and pour wine. I will get more of this and look for more Chinons in the future.

Light red. Typical dill and herb, but it also has a "hot pebble" quality that reminds me of Graves. Light bodied, black fruit with some olives, good acidity, reasonable balance and finish. Pleasant, standard issue basic Chinon that is OK but totally forgettable.

A nice well balanced wine. Aromas flavors of Dust, Hay and hints of Cranberry. The body is Light/Medium with a somewhat short finish. Easy to drink.

This was a nicely done French Red. Typical red wine characteristics overlayed with Cab Franc characteristics. Can hardly expedct more at this price.

Solid wine, smooth tannis, floral notes, drink it today and don't think too much about it.
