This was a nice Pinot. Good acidity and tannins . Berry and cherry on opening . Tight flavours opened up over time. Not a powerhouse, but a good value Pinot.

88-89 for QPR. I thought this was a very good everyday pinot which could cover a lot of needs. Ruby, ruby; black cherries, hint of cola, subtext of sage and floral spice on the nose. Really supple on the palate and premiere bouche with black cherries, dark raspberries, cola or tea earthiness; a little heat but totally palatable. Subtly layered but not complex. Nice toasty tannins on the lingering finish. One could say that it is tilting towards the heavier hand and one would be right but it gets a pass from me for balance and drink-ability. good QPR especially at 16/ btl

Drank with Christmas dinner - excellent from the bottle - fruity, strawberry & cherry aromas. After decanting for a couple of hours, a nice vanilla flavor, the finish is a bit hot.

Light semi-clear garnet red in color. Nose has a dis-jointed combo of Pinot fragrance and Syrah components in my perspective. This is a presentable, food friendly wine, with decent fruit taste, but lacks any complexity or depth. I think some Chiliean Pinots are offering alot more at this price point.

Consistent with prior notes. A good medium weight table Red. It may have some Syrah or something other than Pinot blended. Not over the top, but not a typical Pinot experience either.

Pleasant drinkable Pinot/Syrah/something...blend. It does not have a pinot profile at all. More of a Syrah character if anything. It's bright an lively for a table red, but don't expect anything distinctive here.

I have to agree with the other comments before me. Not impressed with this as a pinot. More syrah like. Very rough finish. Did not mellow with time as I expected. Not a repurchase.

Not impressed. Decent but a little mixed in the fruit dept. Not Pinot, more Sryah-like in flavor and body. I will see how the second bottle rolls but not impressed. Light Garnet. Strong purple fruit and mineral aspect on the nose. The heat did blow off after a while, but was not something I prefer. Decent, but not a show winner.

A rough effort, this wine is light and insipid offering only muddled, confectionary aromas of plum fruit, pomegranate and spice. Light-bodied, but quite bitter on the palate this tastes of grapes and pips pressed for everything they had.

#2 in our 11/28 pinot tasting. Good Carneros fruit, pomegranate, cherry, modest acid, easy and approachable.

Good value for a Pinot at this price. Blackberry and good balance. Little bit earthy finish.

I find Acacia to be a good, dependable Pinot. It's a great price-point and pairs well with many foods.

Muted color, not atypical of pinot. Cola notes on the nose, not much else. Palate a little disappointing...the wine just falls a little flat to me.

Ripe and spiced with floral and tea notes. Good body and finish; like a graceful Syrah.
