Wild cherry, blackberry, currant, plum and chocolate flavors are still holding primary character. Tannins are still evident - needed 2-3 hours to open and was even better 2nd night. I dont agree with the tasters who said drink up - this has some time left, at least 5+ years.

Dark berry fruits still dominate the wine, but vanilla is noted on the aromatics. Complex mingling with chocolate and a hint of licorise (anise), make for a well balanced wine.

PNP, this bottle was hitting on all cylinders tonight, with plums kalamata olives, balsamic , dark cherries, chocolate, very smooth and balanced. This was sadly my last bottle!

Color was dark, almost black ink with a tinge of brown on the rim. Nose had blackberry pie, grape jam, compost, cedar and some minerality. Medium plus body. On the pallet was hidden fruit (cherry, over ripe plum and dark berries), blackberry cobbler, cedar again, some earthiness and slight minerality. Acidity is falling away. Smooth and mouth filling tannins that fall away fast. Medium plus finish.
Glad I drank this bottle now. It's on it's way out. Drink now and enjoy.

This bottle did not show as weel as previous bottles, lots of red fruit upfront, raspberries, red cherry, red currants, some cassis, hints of chocolate, drying tannins on the finish distracted from overall enjoyment.

I've been waiting to drink this one since bringing it back from the Winery in 2009. Heavy bottle with the deepest punt I've had so far but who's counting. The nose had good fruit along with some graphite. The palate had decent fruit but could not hang with the steak dinner it accompanied. This had all the finesse I've read about with older Napa cabs but in the end fell short of my expectations.

Smooth, well-balanced, nice cab. Not "in your face" with tannins. Not too earthy or musky. A bit of graphite with some strawberry and plum. Nice mouth feel, medium body. Moderate finish. A nice wine from this region, but not as rich as some.

Popped and poured, red plum, cherry, and hints of pinot like musty earth. Red fruit dominates the palate, with vaniila and earthy notes. Very smooth finish, that is moderately long. Good solid cab, that is elegant, but lack's the structure and concentration I look for in california cab's.

Decanted for 1hr, red fruit, vanilla and plum in the nose, smooth and balanced flavors of cherry, vanilla, graphite and stawberry on the palate, with good acidity holding everything in check. Soft and sweet, however not for the long haul,. Drink soon!

Four Young Cali Cab Flights, Various Price Points (Snooth, NYC): So, who ever started a note with "Campbell's tomato soup" on the nose and ended with "my #1 of the flight and #2 of the night"? Well, me. This was tasty. Short finish, nice mouthfeel, sweet, raspberry. I didn't care ofr the nose (at all) but I really enjoyed the taste. For the record, all three of these were all close together for me.

Popped and poured, not as ripe as many of its counter parts, nice balance, red fruits, a little green, very smooth and ready to drink.
