Color was a very light red, this wine was definitely in the last months (?) of its drinking window. It still showed a great taste of fruit on the palate, yet very light - not much tannin or acid to pair, but this was clearly once a very sexy wine. The nose ephemeral - and too light too smell most of the time, but very enjoyable. For a man that has not had any old Cabernet Francs . . . this was a great intro.
