Cherries and refreshing on day one. Raspberries and licorice day two. It's got some acid to it no doubt. My spouse liked it and I'm still trying to decide after about 4 bottles.

My, this is really good, and open, and drinking exceptionally well right now. Pretty garnet red with nearly clear meniscus (guess that's the nebb). Raspberry is the strongest note I identify on the nose & palate, but it's definitely part of a harmonious chorus which also includes some things like a bit of leather and just a hint of earthy decomposing leaves (in a good way). I'm more confident in saying it drinks like what it is: it's clearly sun-kissed California fruit, clearly made by someone with more old-world sensibilities, and it's absolutely earthy yet delicate-bodied Nebbiolo joined by Barbera with its acidic thonk. It was fantastic with moussaka, and it's still enjoyable on night two with popcorn. Among my favorites I've tried from Sunce, along with a Merlot (Wild Hare Vyd) and a Pinot. Wouldn't mind having another few bottles.

Somewhat cloudy burnished red. Strawberry, spiced raspberry and vanilla nose. Light to medium bodied, sharp but slightly astringent cherries, leather, a little green pepper, woody tannins, good acid, and a medium finish with a touch of bitterness. Interesting, but there's probably a good reason the Italians never combined these 2 varietals.

Yet another Sunce wine that disappoints. And, this isn't even one of the wines I bought from Woot. I paid $30 at the winery in 10/09. Over the hill with significant browning. Very thin and very little flavor.

I really like these bottles. Nice body, a little fruit forward, but a richness that makes it a pleasurable glass while reading a book or taking in a sunset.

This has a lot of personality! Just had a few sips during a wine-fueled dinner & movie night. It was so strikingly different from the Chianti Classico Riserva we had open simultaneously that sniffing them in order was a study in contrasts. Someone said "earthy" and notes below talk about fruit; but there was a strong freshness to this which is maybe closer to herbal (mint?) than fruit or earth. Will have to pay closer attention to my other bottle.

I bought a case of these from futures and have not been dissapointed with the three I've drank so far. Super easy and smooth to drink. Nice fruit with a medium body. Just a nice sipping QPR.

Wow - unique blend - barbera and nebbiolo - wasn't sure what to expect but this was really good - even on the 2nd day. Nice fruit - well balanced - great finish - super easy to drink!
