Burgundy color. Funk and red berries on the nose. Tastes...overcooked, for lack of a better term. Spicy and just-rotting red fruits. Drunk in Milan at the Westin Palace (courtesy bottle).

Decanter Italy Tasting (London): Garnet colour just fading. Evolved nose. Tannic, lacking fruit but not showing any development other than a touch of tobacco on the finish.

Lifted nose with tobacco ash, candied red cherries, mint. Med+ body, good concentration, slightly tannic. Red berries on the palate, rather fruity. Moderately hot finish, slightly metallic aftertaste, very good length. Quite good actually, though not showing much of terroir (tasted blind next to a few Burgundies).

Curious about the novelty of this wine. I do prefer the Blauburgunder bottlings of the north of Italy to this version.

No proper notes, but i did like this one. Quite mature, complex and surprisingly tannic.
