Nice raspberry, just enough acid to cut the home made tomotoe sauce. Dranksmooth. Not getting any better, not the earhty agey stuff of an italian Barbera, but Californiaizes it nicely.

Popped and poured. Enjoyed this again. Really nice, quite fruit forward raspberry flavors complemented by some prominent, tart acidity. Fairly racy style but features some really good lush fruit. Fabulous companion to chicken and herb ravioli from Costco.

Consumed over 4 days - notes from last day. Nose of crushed berries. Palate - tart raspberry and cranberry, bright acidity and a pleasant puckering finish. A little viscosity as well -- nice touch! Finish was quite long with major cranberry action and some grippy tannins. Was quite nice on its own but also went well with cheese ravioli in marinara sauce. Really, quite Italian tasting but also with a little Cali twist -- in a very good way. I like what Palmina is doing here -- this is a fantastic effort and one of the few Cali Italian varietal wines that I have really enjoyed. Bravo Palmina.

Tart, acidic cranberry to start with some finish of strawberry. I like the length and focus of the finish. This was not one shot and done. It opened up as the night went on and became very smooth. Interesting and tasty wine.

Very nice. Only nit pick is the acid is really edging towards the very high side--noticeable on attack on the tongue. But I like high acid, and there's a lot going on. Very little oak here. Nose shows dried cherries, something plant-like (sage? lavender?), and a some savory and floral bits. Nice fresh fruit on the palate. Very savory/umami quality on the pleasing finish. Minerality as well (probably the acidity). Also, an occasional cherry cola quality. Very light tannin. Attractive style, not your typical Cali wine at all.

Tasted at a wine tasting dinner at the City Winery in NYC. Great intense nose, earthy licorice and spices. Dark red in color. Explosion of flavors, nice mouth feel. Some dark fruir and currnets, earthy. Tannins suggest some positive evolution for 2-3 years

Tart and flat at this point, a little funky on the nose. Not going to finish the bottle. Let it go too long.

Tart rasberry, cranberry, bright, acidic, easy drinking with some earth but not terribly complex. Did not change much with air.

Consistent with last bottle. California for sure, but Italian character showing through nicely.

Baby killers- this was far too young to drink. Big black cherries and lots of undeveloped tannins.
