From the first sniff you are immediately projected into the Provence and this beautifully situated property, in the midst of its vineyards and garrigue landscape. This wine is made of exuberance. In the nose it will bulldoze you with its honey, melon, orange, apricot, mirrored in an amazingly intense palate rounded by a subtle citrus rim. Pair this beauty with a fruit salat, a rhubarb or apricot cake!

decadent, intense and 15% alcohol - served with a boiled lobster, melted butter, dill sauce, finger potatoes in olive oil and spices, and bruschetta; the taste of lobster and the muscat was wild and spot on and the alcohol made the butter even hotter...cant see it tasted any other way...something to indulge on your own or with fellow hedonists...not for everyone...

Robe jaune doré, larmes évidentes. Amande et miel au nez, belle intensité. C'est assez corsé au palais, avec le miel de nouveau, l'épice et la fleur. Longueur appréciable.

Light lemon robe with medium brilliance. Medium to high viscosity. Nose initially exposed typical muscat elderflower accent, then earthiness and herbaceous components such as rosemary came through. Heat manifested as a hint of white pepper. On the palate, sugary sweetness overwhelms at the attack, followed by left over Ceylon tea-like astringency that follows through to long finish. Almost no fruits showed on the palate. Low acidity. I was not thrilled by this wine as astringency was not very friendly to my palate.

All the elements are there but it waits to be seen how they will integrate. Lemongrass, necterine and a real lightness of touch but the spirit is still presenting itself. I knew it was a little early but wanted to give it a try.

Intensely floral, lychee, good acidity, well balanced, slight soapy aftertaste. Not too long, but pleasant.

Monthly Tasting Group LTB 2012-08; Southern Rhône (by RvR and AdJ): In the bouquet clearly muscatel. Also some apricots pear and anise. On the palate muscatel, anise and sweet licorice. A bit one-dimensional.

Apricot jam sweetness but very light and floral. Looking forward to drinking with summer fruits (if summer ever comes to the north of England)

Sweet but uncloying stone fruits and lovely floral scent. Silly QPR for excellence.
