Quite impressive for the price. Earth on the nose. Nice fruit on start, but i find a bit too high on the alcohol for the body. Decent sangiovese though.

Not a wine for less discerning guests but a nice change from the vast array of food friendly wines. Ruby/brick in color, it's very big on the nose with lots of fruit, spice and tar. Forward on the palate with smokey dark fruit and well rounded tannins. Great choice to mix things up!

Done in an international style, this shows lots of ripe fruits on the nose with just a hint of terroir. On the palate, the expected candied red and black fruits are right there in full view. Decent acidity and an average finish. I can see this doing well in a lot of bottle shops whose customers enjoy a true pop-n-pour, ripe style. Approx $22
