There was almost no sediment present, so I popped and poured. The color was between cranberry and garnet with full transparency (really pretty to my eye). The aromas were still very red-fruited with cherry, cranberry, and some sous bois. The palate was fully integrated but still all about the red fruit elements - cranberry, strawberry, cherry, a bit of rhubarb. Some smoke and black truffle show up if you look for them. Delightful wine that is in prime form for my tastes. No hurry here.

Pop and pour. Light maroon color. On the nose, it almost smells like Gamay Noir (there's something about the nose of '07 Will Valley Pinots that's very distinctive). The initial palate tastes like fresh strawberries. There's plenty of acidity framing the fruit, but it's not excessive, nor is the fruit under ripe and tart. Good length on the finish. To be sure, this is a light-bodied wine with high-toned fruit, but I think it avoids the shortcomings of many '07 wines (for example, some folks tried to make up for the lack of ripeness in the fruit by using too much oak which was a disaster). This is a great food wine.

Medium red color with medium transparency. Decanted to get some air into this. Aromas of cherry, spice, cranberry, and some floral elements. Palate is sweet-tart with cranberry, cherry, rhubarb, a bit of celery seed and a slight spice note on a medium finish. Drinking well to my tastes as a young, but not too youthfully imbalanced wine. Drink at leisure.

Wow, this is not a great expression of Evesham, don't know what happened here. Tart, bitter, sour, not much fruit or any of the Oregon nuances going on here.

Beautiful Pinot from winemaker Russ Rainey & mostly from his Puits Sec vineyard as part of Liner & Elsen retail shop annual cuvee blend. Gorgeous fruit, awesome balance with acids. tannins, fruit (very raz, black berryish with hints of cherry) wrapped in that unique Oregon terroir of wet hay and rainy fir tree needles. Good length and very elegant

Lovely Oregon red fruit. Fine sediment at the end. Ethereal with a nice acid.
