Hmm.. this is still a very unique wine. The sag and dill are still here in full effect, but there's a mid-palate sense of sweetness and more oak showing. A little too heavy for my taste, and a little lacking in acid. But still delicious.

Upon opening the wine, I could smell the wild flowers, citrus, and melon. The color was a deeper straw color than the usual white wines (unlike another reviewer, my bottle was definitely not pale). The wine tasted of melon and citrus with hints of mineral. This wine definitely aged well in the bottle over the last three years--we had enjoyed a bottle in 2009 prior to buying a half case.

Very nice wine. Virtually water-like in color, with a complex nose of grapefruit, cut grass, and strong mineral notes. In the mouth, racy and quite focused, although also playing with the roundness of the mouth feel that the barrel aging gives it. In all, a nice, fruit-driven wine with solid complexity and a nice dose of acidity. A-

Popped and poured. Wow. This is what I *wanted* Merry Edwards to be. It tastes a lot like the 2005 I had a few months ago, except fresher. The concentration and complexity here is off the charts. That same herb bomb is here - tons of sage, dill and tarragon. Great lime acidity. No noticeable oak. Medium body. A little bit of chalk. This is probably at peak, but has the stuffing to hang in there for awhile. An absolute steal at $31 - I wish I'd bought more.

ljus halmgul färg. Stor frisk doft av nässlor och tomatplanta med bra syra och lite sötma (fat ?). Stor fyllig, frisk smak med bra sysra och lång lite fatig svans. Ett mycket gott fräscht vin !!

Tastes like the Modavi people accidentally aged it in some old cabernet sauvignon barrels, then bottled the result anyways. I normally like this wine, but something went wrong with this vintage.
