Very mature fruit with many layers on the palate. Balanced acidity. Simply elegant. This could age graciously for years to come, 2027 is a good target.

On the second half of its drinking window. Soft fruit and tannins more prominent than how I remembered it. Finish had some acid and tannins. Had with many other wines and this was probably 3rd or 4th. Maybe needed more time to open up?

Excellent depth. Soft tannins and enough acid to keep in currrnt drinking window for a while. Dark cherry, violets, light touch of earth, caramel and menthol. Great combination of primary characteristics with hints of age. The layers, balance, weight and soft, long mouth watering finish makes this a 94. We let it breath for 90 minutes before drinking.

An awesome bottle! The nose is quite vibrant with lots of Christmas spice and a little smoke. The palate is well balanced, with red berry fruit, a little vanilla, a little Christmas spice. Long finish with the red berry maybe tasting a little more like cherry but not strongly so. Decanted for about an hour with only a small amount of sediment.

Nice enough Oregon Pinot. Tart cherry, tobacco, and wet leaves, followed by perfumed raspberries and drying tannins. Medium finish. Depth was a bit wanting but a nice drink. Nice with grilled pork loin with farro salad.

This is marvelous. Very classic nose of a Dundee Hills PN, very different from many Burgundian productions (I actually find Burgundies are often more complex and interesting). Firm and mature tannins, medium body, with a finish that goes on forever and never quits. I'll bet this has another decade to go (2024), and could justify the high price, but with it drinking so fine right now I hope I'm able to keep from consuming everything by then.

Opened and decanted for 3 hours. Earthy up front with a hint of lavender and a peppery/ripe blueberry finish. Smooth-as-silk mouth feel. Over-priced but delicious. Still some bottle time left here; will probably hold for a few more years yet.

Opened about a half hour before serving, did not decant. Singing. Vanilla, red berry fruit, and floral nose. Tangy palate with more red berry fruit, black pepper, hints of nutmeg, and earthy minerality. Crisp acidity. Harmonious. Very long smooth finish. Outstanding wine.

- Crimsom color with slow forming legs and aromas of cherry and black pepper. It's balanced and has flavours of black pepper and raspberry with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - Less of a nose than the Laurene, this wine is more earthy on the nose. Dark cherry with tobacco and pepper on the nose. On the pallet there is black pepper, raspberry and a hint of bubble gum.

Very Burgundian. Initial nose of raspberry jam opens into aromas of lavender, cherry and cedar. Soft and mouth coating yet fairly light on its feet, it presents flavors of tart cherry and a dose of spicy oak. Finishes fairly acidic, with hints of lavender and a touch of vanilla. In its prime now, but it will be interesting to see how it develops.

Still phenomenal Slight bricking. Soft, fresh, cherry and eucalyptus. Acid is balanced. Finish is long.

@oregonnative said exactly what I was going to say: this is in the second half of the drinking window. Lovely, but drink what you have left by 2024.

Unimpressive finish for the age and price point but it’s so precise. Mouth cleansing

Bright red cherry, cinnamon / pepper notes, silky tanins - extremely elegant. Drank with roasted pork loin with fennel-garlic rub - heavenly!

Nice color and flavor but not as good as other Drouhins that I have had so this one seems overpriced.
