This is a quintessential’07 Napa Cab. The nose has the same type intensity of high quality Hermitage Rhône Syrah that leaps out of the glass and hits you with complexity and vibrancy.
The nose is brimming with deep dark black cherries, saddle leather, cranberry compote, blackberries and a hint of green herbs. On the palate I get the same level of complexity of flavors combined with a nice structure built for a great grilled steak. The finish is smoky with nice mouth gripping tannins.
This wine has plenty of leg room for aging, but is drinking extremely well right now.

Very good wine, especially for $50. Big, bold ripe, and full bodied but not an overpowering cab. Not too hot. Very sizable and very nice with hearty food (lamb, salty cheese). A nice example of 07 napa cab for the money. Yum!

Too early to tell but the wine has a lot going for it. This is an excellent value. It is fantastic at this point in its maturation. Can't wait to open one next year. This one could be great.

Just bottled this past week so note that as a reference. Liqueur-like nose, exotic, rich and up front fruit and then, bam, the tannins clamp down. I liked this wine a whole lot but the softening on the wine will take some time.

Nice rich fruit, medium tannins and balanced acidity. This is a rich a delicious wine drinking well in 2017. A nice $50 Napa cab.

Nice Napa cab. Less oak than most, more of a restrained effort.

Good but a little thin and slightly acidic, even with broiled rack of lamb
