90-92? Punkte. Die letzten Jahre in meinem Klimakühlschrank in D. aufbewahrt. Vor circa 10 Jahren gekauft. Jugendlich in Farbe und Geschmack. Sehr feine Spätlese mit 7,5% Alkohol. Dezente, feinhefige Noten. Hier läuft alles über Feinheit, Eleganz und Schwerelosigkeit. Reintönig. Dennoch Substanz und Konzentration und deutliche Süße. Auch nach einer Woche im Kühlschrank praktisch unverändert. Top Wein. Bis circa 2030+ wunderbar zu genießen.

Christmas Day 2020 (My place, Kent Street): Served with nectarines wrapped in proscuitto di parma or jamon iberica. From Coravin. this was the most muted of the wines for this bracket...quite mineral with a slight herbaceous note accompanying green apple, similar flavours on the palat. It was also the most out of balance; not massively so but the other wines were very 'complete'. I found the acid and sugar not very integrated. Probably the worst food match as well. Hmm.

From Coravin. Initially a little kerosene, again a little herbaceous note over muted apple and lemon fruit, slight white pepper, generally more mineral than the 2007 for me on the nose. Off dry but the acid is more lemon than apple for me here. there is also a little soft textured burr to the mid palate. Quite simple but travels long. Okay.

Light to medium gold. Less sweet than two years ago. But still more auslese than spatlese. Moderately sweet/sour palate. Excellent balance for further cellaring. Medium to full bodied.

My eighth bottle of this over two years. Some variation but all within 84-92 points. This bottle is one of my favorites. Beautiful flower and lemony nose some slightly reductive and smoky complexity and a hint of petrol as well. Still a hint of fermentation funk!(?) Ripe palate which still feels a little bit too sweet. I enjoy it very cold, that way the sweetness receeds and the wine is more refreshing. I think that with a few more years in the cellar it will dry out and hit perfect balance. Drink now - 2025. 92 pts potential.

Excellent, but a bit boring tonight. Drunk very fast, no time to open up. Didnt sense any oxidative character as Ive sensed in other bottles. Drink now-2020.

Light gold in glass. Medium sweet, tropical fruit. Secondary notes of oak barrel or wine cellar on finish. Going through an in between phase? I'll try again in two years.

Christmas Day 2015 (Loz's): ripe apple, slightly candied infact, citrus with very slight petroleum. Off dry but lovely, tangy citrus and orchard fruit.

A really wonderful and complex nose. No reductive notes or anything unpleasant at all. Just pure, delicate pleasure.
Sweet and tingling on tongue - a hint of effervescence. Multi-layered.
Finish is long and with so much mouthwatering acidity - the acid really counterbalances the sweetness which is what I look to for the perfect sweet riesling.

appley nose quite a bit of sweetness & body, round, some honey & cooked apples with a touch of toastiness, good acidity, very well-balanced, elegant but not in any way austere, good length lovely stuff just starting to show signs of maturity

Nå begynner dette å bli VIRKELIG godt. Lot den lufte over natten i flasken. Tropisk, frisk, lang, pen syre. Kiler nesten på tungen så deilig er den. Skulle kjøpt mer...

Smell: rubber tires & peach. Taste: stone fruits, citrus, minerals. Vibrant acidity. Great balance, not that sweet at all for an off-dry wine. Delicious.

Minerals and citrus in the bouquet. Same in the taste. The citrus is mild and there is a firm dose of sweetness. Very pure and tasteful and a long finish.

Striking. This brings to mind a JJ Prüm Wehlener Sonnenuhr, starting with a blast of sulfur that quickly gives away to gorgeous flavours of fresh Mosel fruit, nuanced floral and slatey elements on a very delicate, polished frame that's kept very fresh and lively by its acidity. Perhaps a touch light on the back end, but this is really delicious and a wine I definitely must buy more of.

aromas of melon, lemon, slate that come through on the palate and nice acidic finish. finish was highlighted with a lentil soup and controlled nicely with a meal of clams and pasta with marinara sauce. overall very food friendly wine and i'm anxious to see how this develops in comparison to some of the richer 2007 rieslings in my cellar.

Still sweet but becoming more complex than two years ago. Nice balance of ripe fruits and juicy acidity, long finish. Drink or hold.

Easy to drink, well balanced sweetness/acidity, not overly complex.

Very good. Still some baby fat, but also a oxidative character sneaking in. Might not be up for the long run.

Not as great as my first bottle last year. I sense a faint hint of oxidation. Consider drinking up soon?

Bummer - this bottle was a little off
nose is restrained and reductive.
palate is nice, but a bit simple.
With a little air, nose opens up a bit but palate gives hints of oxidation. Some matured sweetness appears as well.
The two previous bottles were much better!
