Very Lean, tart cherry and a bit aged for my taste buds. Nice aged mineral character and balanced. Very smooth and silky texture. Mother loved it. Combined score of 87-91

Medium red. Somewhat reserved the first 30 mins. Proceeds to open up with sour red cherry and strawberry fruit and a whiff of chalk. Just a tiny bit of dryness from the oak, but the oak doesn't get in the way of the fruit and I suspect it will integrate nicely with a few more years in the cellar. Elegant and full of pleasure, but a bit on the lean side. Not a profound wine, but at $12.50 (on sale) it doesn't need to be either.

Enjoyed this much more this time around. Had with an interesting stuffed chicken thigh dish from Naomi Pomeroy of "Beast". Savory elements still there, but more balance and fruit than last bottle. Paired well with the warm viagrette. Very good nose and color. Stones, bitter cherries, absolutely none of the fruit forward effect of many Oregon pinots. Time settling in the cellar perhaps a factor? Definitely would buy again in the under $20 range.

Interesting. Very nice color and nose. Classic pinot look and smell. First taste on pop and pour is savory, very little fruit. Lack of "sweetness" and fruit characteristics, almost meat like. Not complex. Pleasant but a bit one dimensional. At under $15 per bottle a decent value. More than that, buy a baseline Oregon pinot and enjoy it more.

tart cherry, good frame on this wine (long, good energy level, fresh) but not all that much complexity. Used most of this for cooking, but only because we found ourselves with some beef short ribs in need of a a long soak and braise and really not much choice of wine at home.

Tart but pure fruit. A little lean for my taste. Still, a nice wine south of $20.
