this was very good. I did a blind tasting against and italian and a local ohio cab franc and honestly thought this was the italian. I would buy it again in a minute. very pleased for an impulse buy.

Definite French styling here. Cedar, tobacco, and leathery aromas. Earthy, gravelly flavors after fresh fruit-forward attack. While more fruit forward and fuller bodied, this has definite Chinon qualities to it. Very much a Cab Franc. Oak is well integrated, no heat.

A bit aromatically challenged. Shows some tobacco, cedar, currant and caramel, requires lots of swirling. Good acidity with pleasant bitterness showing on finish. Medium extraction, medium body. Nice texture and seamless flavor arc. Just lacking some impact on the nose, but very enjoyable to drink, showing an elegant profile. Worth the price, hits a nice spot for a CF. Not flabby, yet not overly herbaceous, either. Rather juicy in a good way. Light dusty tannins.

88 pts out of the bottle. Decanted. 1 hr later; what a difference. A solid 90. Smooth and balanced.

Fabulous for the price. Dark fruit, hints of chocolate, earth, very smooth, full body. Loved it.

Very good to excellent. Dry and spicy with strong oak. I'd definitely pick this up again. Good QPR.
