First, this is an extremely un-pinot like pinot noir. It has a merlot-like level of chewiness with notes of strong vanilla and stewed plum/blackberry lightly laced with fine black pepper. It fades relatively quickly but comes back 15 seconds or so with a finish of sweet blackberries and vanilla, which lasts a while. It has the slightest hint of effervescence (which one hopes will fade quickly) that is only apparent upon vigorous agitation of the tongue. (This is really a very un-pinot like pinot noir). Caveat: tried on a Delta flight from Atlanta to London.

Medium ruby robe with red rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense aromas of cherries, strawberries and spice. Medium-bodied on the palate, with low-to-medium acidity, light-to-medium sweet tannins and flavors mirroring the nose. Despite being listed as 15.5%, the alcohol is quite well-integrated when consuming at an appropriate serving temperature of approximately 65 degrees. The middle palate is solid and the finish is long and quite smooth. This is a very nice (albeit somewhat simple) Pinot, especially for the price. Drink now-12/14.

I agree this wine has high-pitched fruit and an acidic edge, but for me, the acidity was way too edgy - almost searing - making this unpleasant and difficult to drink.

Again I was expecting more from this wine. Had some decent fruit but lacked complexity I would expect from this world class winery.

Quite nice, medium body, a tad sour- thus better with food than solo. Excellent with our lamb chops for example.

Chewy tannins, medium finish. Cran/Cherry/Plum fruit. OK wine.

Cherry & vanilla on both the nose and palate. Warm round finish that puts many, far more expensive, Burgundies to shame. I really enjoyed this.
