Not a great smelling wine at all, a bit off-putting in fact, like wood cleaner and ammonia. The bottle has it spot on, with peach flavors and a nice finish, for sure the best part of this wine.

We drank this head to head blind with the clos du bois (also 9 bucks). This was a little more buttery but not in a fake-butter-popcorn Kendal Jackson sort of way. Very nice and slightly preferred to the clos du bois.

Much more crisp than I would have expected from a California chardonnay. Fruity, if not a bit acidic and tart, with little to no oak or buttery smoothness. More like a crisp sauvignon blanc. Refreshing.

very nice, expecially for the price ($10 on sale at metro market). Nice body, acid, caramel flavors, but nothing overpowering. Excellent every day chardonnay. Of course it doesn't pair well with anything...

quaffable. light straw color, somewhat subtle, floral nose with good spice character and golden delicious apples. nicely balanced in the mouth, and a shortish but refreshing finish. drank the bottle with the wifey while enjoying some brie, goat cheese, prosciutto, and grapes and it did well. probably wouldn't buy it again because there's a lot more exciting chard out there in this price range.

Clear light yellow, medium-full body. Clean nose of lemon, a bit of spice, some vanilla, and toast. Good level of fruit on the palate, with slightly sweet lemony-citrus flavors, vanilla, and a little butter. Fresh lemon flavor subsides in short-medium finish to reveal oak that is a bit strong for my taste but by no means overdone. There is moderate acidity that establishes a nice level of freshness in the mouth, and makes this simple but delicious white a pleasure to drink. Overall very good to excellent quality, and one could do far worse in Cali Chard in the price range of 11-14.

Nice sipping wine on a hot summer day at the beach or poolside. Can't beat the price. Not much richness... crisp, actually for a California chard.

Great qpr. Good candidate for a house white. Acidity, tiny bit of oak. Decent fruit. Well balanced
