Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • A 30 year old Gigondas, and this is surprisingly drinkable, while admittedly way past it's "drink by" date.

Overripe black & red fruit on the nose. The color has faded with time to a dull translucency. Still some acidity on the palate, which allows it to come across as balanced. All in, not bad, especially given how old this wine is.
