Dark ruby with red rim. Intense nose of blackberry, boysenberry, roasted herbs and cola. Full body, moderate oak, relatively tannic for a California Pinot. The flavors are similar to the nose, with additional lingering meat flavors. The mid-palate is impressive and the finish is long. A fine example of what California Pinot can be, not at an unreasonable price.
