Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Developed, luminous brick-hued pale cherry color with light orange rim. Quite developed and somewhat oxidative nose with subtle tertiary ntoes of salted beef jerky and a hint of soy sauce. The wine feels medium-bodied, very developed and quite falling apart on the palate with pungent flavors of soy sauce, salty beef jerky, some dried blackcurrants and a hint of smoke. The acidity feels quite modest and the tannins are almost completely resovled, retaining only very light grip. The finish is medium-bodied, dull and tertiary with slightly saline, oxidative flavors of soy sauce, beef consommé and leather.

Completely past its prime. Might have been good a decade ago, but no life remains in this wine anymore. This is not falling apart - this has fallen to pieces. At 32,50€ this wasn't particularly expensive, but still waste of money.
