Out of a mag with a 3 hour decant. This was the wotn for several in our group but for me it just seemed a little off, like maybe it was a little past its prime. Very earthy and minerally with some pepper, spice and dark fruits. Good mouthfeel and long finish. Out of 16 people no one guessed that this was a California cab.

Was very good on the first night, but pretty amazing on the second. Opened up significantly and showed such depth and complexity we were really surprised. I recommend decanting a few hours before enjoying. Glad we have more!

As many others have noted, still wound very tight. Definitely a mountain cab which could use more time. Last bottle regrettably but could easily use another 3-5 years if not more.

Needs time... much potential, but still tight and wound up. Some '07s are really singing, but the ones built for the long haul are stubborn. Maybe next one in 5+ years.

Drinking very well now but will hold up for several more if you like more mature Cab. Very balanced and well integrated with fruit, earth and cedar notes, supple tannins and balanced acidity. 93+ pts. PJP 2017.

Really lovely cab - classic Napa cab w/ good acidity, fruit, structure & smooth tannins. Drank after a brief double decanting. This will drink well for many more years.

Stood this up for an hour, then popped and let it breathed for about 90 minutes. This was singing right off the bat. Dark red fruit profile, and a little blue fruit. Definitely mountain fruit. There is a faint hint of mint somewhere in the back of the palate, which was lovely. Medium plus finish with fully integrated tannins.
This was in a great spot for my tastes. I'm sure it will do just fine in the cellar for a while, but if I had more bottles I would pop in the next 3-4 years.

coming into the zone...ideally suited for thanksgiving week now or in 10 years...can't go wrong as this is a real crowd pleaser from the humble neophyte to lockjaw larry

Gorgeous, smooth, drinking perfectly. A couple years ago had the pleasure of sharing a magnum of 84 Keenan Reserve and it was special. This wine delivers now and years down the road.

Excellent bottle of wine that is now entering it's drinking zone. Great mountain fruit with a lot of other complexity going on. Long finish too. Drank without food. Will go another 10 years with good cellaring but I won't wait that long for my other bottle.

Very tight. I decanted for 2 1/2 hours, really started to open up! At first I was like what the hell then I was patient. You definitely need to decant for at least 2 1/2 hours. I bought 4 bottles. I'm a big fan of Keenan. 2007 Great vintage!! This wine will peak in 5 years. I would let this one sit in your cellar for a bit. Cheers Michael Keenan! 93 Points. The OKC Kid

decant 60 mins...deep violet hue...vibrant black fruits with equal punch of wet earth and pencil shavings on the nose...decadent and luscious fruit with spicy toasted oak, black licorice and faint medicinal notes on the palate which is balanced nicely with crisp acidity and chewy tannins...this is still tight but yet so energetic...really yummy and big but not a fruit bomb...one of Michael's finest 100% cabs, which is likely to age well for 20 years...another great SM effort...a bit pricey but worth it

Overall very good - Big mouthful, glass coating legs, not a ton of fruit on the palate but still complex: notes of dark berry, pencil lead, cherry, and forest floor. Very well integrated tannins.

Decanted the bottle and started drinking right away. A complex well developed wine full bodied with no aftertastes of tannis or acids. Nice strong legs, great nose of chocolates and smokiness. A really great drinking wine right now. Certainly of of Keenan's best efforts.

Overall really good. Started out a touch sour but that improved after it was open for a bit. Nice big mouthfeel. Not the most fruit, lots of dark forest and some pencil lead and meaty flavors. Long finish.

Coffee, licorice, blackberry, cherry and jam notes lead to a rich textured, supple, round Cabernet Sauvignon made in a plush style. This is showing well today.

Tested on well-aired bottle, 3+ hrs. Soft alluring aroma of nail polish, dusty floral, cocoa powder - almost a like a central-Italian wine. In the mouth a rich burst of chewy textured deep neither sweet nor sour dark fruit balancing a smokiness and mineral. Medium lingering warmish finish. Cab sauv. 14.3% abv. Body medium plus, acid medium, tannin medium. Tested at USD80.

sleepy dark fruits, medium finish, opened up over 3 hours but fruit was hidden and finish was muddled, disappointing; hold
