A Bern’s bottle with a mid shoulder fill, this wine had a deep red center and light orange rims. The nose was dusty and closed nose at first but then developed to show medium intensity cherries, plums, Cuban cigar and minerals. It had a 96 point nose.
In the mouth, this wine was rather lean at first but developed nice feathery texture with fully resolved tannin, good acidity and decent length.
This wine was light and subtle at first but developed well to be refined but nicely integrated. A lovely wine that should be consumed ASAP.

What a great surprise! Still vibrant! Sweet red fruits, cedar, truffle. Fresh vegetal taste on the palate, fruits are still present. Medium length but good complexity. Drink now

A perfect example of aged Bordeaux at its best. The sweet, red fruits, tobacco, forest floor, Cuban Cigar and truffle notes on the nose grabbed you The still vibrant, fresh, round textured, kirsch and pure cherry finish was bright, fresh, clean and long.

An Evening at Bern's (Tampa): Amazingly fresh on the nose with bright red and blue fruit, a lovely floral note all set against a backdrop of mature details like earth, wet leather, herbs and damp earth. Forward and sexy. This really stood out for its vibrancy, but did not have quite the depth or seamless texture of some of the others. Still it was just remarkable in its freshness.
