this wine was almost undrinkable ! way too acidy and sour . . . . . and not enough body to equal this. as usuall with most burgundy wines, decanting does not help, on the contrary. I asked myself where Jadot has his good reputation from ? I guess, this comes from the more expensive ones.

Drinking well now. Rich brick color. Strawberry bouquet when first opened, gave way to cassis with a touch of earth. Good acidity. Fruit persists on the palate, with a medium body and light finish.

Slightly rustic Pommard with a noticeably high acidity on day one. On day two the balance was very good, the acidity just right and it had also gained quite a bit of complexity. Very good, but don't pop and pour.

No drama here. Seems like a typical Pommard. The aromatics were strong from beginning to end. You don't have to worry about things like too much oak, or over-extraction, or high alcohol, etc. I actually squinted after the first sip of this wine and it remained tannic, rugged, and tart throughout, but it seems to have all the usual components in place. Tart cherries, raspberries, and earth. A solid "A" grade on the nose. Hard to assess early on, but nothing in evidence that suggests disappointment. It just needs time.

Best of the bottles we had. Clear, crispy, beautiful in the glass

Very acidic (tart and sour). Was very disappointing for $40

No formal notes. Smooth and silky and ready to go. No need to wait on this.
