Un Bonnes Mares qui manque de structure mais tout de même bien délicieux. Sur les fruits rouge, tannins fondu, finale moyenne, ca pinotte, assez mince, c'est charmeur mais on s'attend a plus d'un Bonne Mares. A boire maintenant.

Great aromatics with cool, airy nose of dark red fruit, slightly meaty, crushed stones, and minerals. Palate reveals young, tights tannins, medium plus acidity with great mineral and red fruit notes, and a chiseled, long structure leading into a long but somewhat taut finish. Still young but good now and will improve from here with time.

Atypical Bonnes Mares, showing the usual depth of fruit but with a light touch, bright and accessible today. Dark raspberry, high-toned florals, and five spice. Still a touch of sinewy chewiness and grip that'll soften with time. Very good.

Quel vin!

Leiden Dinner May 2016: After opening very closed, showing some red fruit in taste and nose. Opens up after a decant of an hour, nice red berrie fruit, impressive minerality. Remains however a bit straight and linear, despite the huge amount of extract that is present. Needs a lot of years in bottle, I think this will evolve in a beautiful wine.

Part of a mixed vertical tasting of Bonnes Mares. This was the last bottle I tasted and the youngest of the evening. Very different style than just about every other Bonnes Mares we tasted. Thought maybe the wine in the bottle was switched to see if we were paying attention! (It wasn't.) Anyway, bold, racy, spicy, ripe. Medium to full bodied and ready to drink now despite its youth. I really enjoyed it, but I'll bet it was at the bottom of the list for the Burgundy purists.

Un vin solide, typique de ce que le domaine nous offre de meilleur.

Quel vin ! De superbes fruits rouge sur la framboise et cerise avec une longueur cylindrique hors norme. 95 sur 100.

Interesting nose, asian cooking spices, red fruits, sublte. Palate is harmonious, long finish, red fruits on palate, but a bit quiet. needs some time?

| Selosse | DP | Ramonet | Tremblay | Lafite | Dagueneau | ..,: After an hour decant. Bold dark fruit, very concentrated, spicy, powerful and tannic, closed and lacking finesse now. Should age well.
