Very nice. I know it sounds crazy, but it had a profile similar to a Chablis. Lemon, lime and minerality. Very enjoyable and easy to drink. Looking forward to enjoying the rest from the cellar.

Very nice golden color. Green apples, flint and beautiful minerality. Almonds and floral notes with good acidity. Nice body and drinking beautifully now. Pair with chicken or salmon, excellent food wine. Solid value at $40.

Drinks much like last bottle (notes on 9/18/14). Just fantastic mineral and acid levels still, which is good given this looked like it could be a weeper before opening. There is almost an added floral and mint quality on the nose now. Last bottle and fantastic! Now 92 points.

Clear medium gold color. Expressive aromas of gun flint, candied apple, black tea, honeysuckle and cardamom- very secondary and medium in intensity. Intense flavors of red and green apple and lemon zest, with high toned minerality and floral depth. Just hints of the spice found on the bouquet. Medium body tending toward lean, with medium+ acid and grainy tannin. Spice, salinity and mineral notes emerge on the finish- mouthwatering and medium in length. Nicely complex and a bit austere. Showing well.

Nose: Aromas of lemons and mineral. Palate: Big acids at 6 years of age with Meyer lemons and undertones of minerals. More linear and elegant than other Pulignys I've had in the past. This drinks more like a Chassagne than a Puligny. Finish is medium to long. Good effort with lots of life left based on this bottle.

So sad, cork was flawed, soaked 2/3 of the way up and wine was prematurely oxidized. I had high hopes based upon others' notes here. I've been drinking my white burgs young due to a bad premox run several years ago, but this is the first one in a while for me. Too bad that a premier cru from a reputable producer didn't have a better cork and couldn't make it six years. Alas, I've got one more and I'm worried it has met a similar fate.

Bouquet of lemon cleanser. Light in body with good acidity. A smooth undertone of yeast and oak is a bit reminiscent of a vintage champagne. Not quite as good as the latour corton Charlemagne 2006.

Shows very rich butter on the palate; balanced nose. Has a little bit of earth too; very decent for a 1er from this vintage, a shade on the buttery side for me. 89-90

Had too cold initially. Predominately butter, but as warmed more mineral notes.

Very buttery on first open. Time open gave way to nice minerality and fruit notes.
